HI, I'M MILAN CARICATURES,
Hello, I'm Yeison Milan (yes, Milan is my last name), a Colombian cartoonist (caricaturist) who has been passionate about art since a very young age. Now, based in Melbourne, I take my art to many places, providing fun moments and beautiful memories with caricatures, from weddings and birthday parties to wherever a caricature can contribute.
I've been dedicated to this profession since 2018, working with newspapers and media outlets in my city. I've also been part of one of the largest caricature festivals in the world for over 31 years, the Ricardo Rendon Bravo Festival in Rionegro, Antioquia. Over time, I learned to draw live until I ended up at an amusement park where I drew dozens of people and pets every weekend.
In 2022, I decided to come to Australia with my partner with the intention of improving my art and learning English. I arrived in Melbourne, the city of art, in this beautiful country. Since then, my art has reached different parts not only in Australia but also around the world. I've had the honour of working with the City of Melbourne, the Immigration Museum, and the Couch 614 of the Salvation Army. etc. I've participated in countless festivals and markets not only in Melbourne but also in different parts of Victoria, Sydney, and Tasmania, as well as birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, pet events, and many more.
